The Electron Gun relic is from my Modern Reliquaries series of small assemblages made in the mid-1990s. What would our world be like if we treated our common objects as sacred? This one is the guts of a television Cathode Ray Tube, the gun which shoots electrons at that old fashioned phosphor coated display surface.

Other pieces in the series may be found here: Modern Reliquaries
