The Big Game You heard the score lately? They're up a couple points. Oh. Anything bad? Nah, they landed a bomb and got past a few forwards. We're holding em. Well a little action is better than none I guess. All that waiting makes me nervous. I can't watch when its quiet for long. Yeah, the networks must hate those days. You have to feel sorry for the guys that lose it though. Know what you mean. Glad I'm not out there. I'd be like that guy that went off-side last year. Its rough sometimes. Even if the exposure is good. Right over the line, in a big way. Did you hear about that agent's contract. Whoa, I might consider it. Might be worth a few close shaves. But those guys're always behind the lines. Hardly get any air time. Win some, lose some, I guess. The guys on the ground don't do much better than average overall. But the air cover. They must get the cream on R&R. Gotta. Never know if they'll see it again. Yeah. Ain't it the truth. Do you get that new score rule? The cost benefits point split? Seems reasonable, but I've never been too hip to accounting. Can't hardly do my food taxes. Well I just follow it when there's nothing else on. Guess I don't have to understand the fine points. Like that time last week when the TV timeout gave us enough advance to cover our asses from their back fire? And they complained that the ref should've used blitz rules, but that would've given it away, so they divided the percents by the hardware expended. And we came out ahead, even though they won the casulty tradeoff. Too complicated for me. I just like to know the point breakdown. I figure they must know what they're doing. More or less anyway. That viewtime add-on always got me, how do they know which side you're watching, anyway? Stats, I guess. Hey, either you guys catch any of the war today? Yeah, a bit just before I got here. Had to split when the commercials came on though. They were ahead by 2 millipercents. Well there's lots more time before the sweeps. We'll get it back. XXX (c) 1992 M. I. Smith
