RoboI+

(2000-)2013 -- 7.5x9.5x14" (height,width,length)

A conceptual installation (for the moment) comprising a robot car in a wire cage, much like those seen at shopping-mall animal adoption operations. The car paces back and forth in the cage and responds to peoples' presence in different ways depending on its mood.

This is a re-purposing of my first robot car -- Robo I -- dating from the beginning of this millennium. The control electronics have been updated to use the ubiquitous Arduino with an H-bridge driver on a card of my own design (also used in Feeling Abandoned). Serious work will begin momentarily...video at 11.
