Organ

The Organ is a set of 5 organ pipes tuned to a jazzy pentatonic scale. They are dirven by small fans which are controlled by a set of simulated integrate-and-fire neurons that are coupled together in a sequence. Each neuronal firing period is influenced by a photocell around the periphery of the organ such that it responds to changing light conditions throughout the day. The coupling tends to synchronize the firing sequence so the resulting melody is repeatedly aleatoric.
